Substation Automation System (SAS) is an automation substation which is one of the revolutions of the power supply system from a guarded system to an unattended system.The guarded or conventional system is the initial design of the substation-substation, where all kinds of equipment and monitoring is carried out on site or substation through the operator. Subsequent developments began to apply SCADA or Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition which allows monitoring of electrical quantities and control of equipment remotely or remotely.
